About WeatherMichigan.net !!
In 2003 MichiganWxSystem was born. It had the intentions of providing Michiganwith the best in Weather Information for Michigan. In late 2004 we decided to change focus and went global,
since that decision was made that left a hole for the best weather information for Michigan.
The concept and planning for WeatherMichigan began in January of 2005,
by June 2005 most of the behind the scenes was ready
in September WeatherMichigan.net became available and was bought.
October 1, 2005 WeatherMichigan.net went live,
by December WeatherMichigan.net became the top search return for "Snow Fall" and "Snow Total's" in Michigan.
Since then WeatherMichigan.net has steadily increased its presence on the web,
with a 72% viewer return,
on average 200 new viewers each month,
current Google PageRank™ of 3 since Decemeber 2007 !!
In May 2006 the NWS/NOAA Data for WeatherMichigan.net became 100% satellite fed,
that is the data for the forecasts, weather maps, and current conditions is either from NOAAport or EMWIN satellite systems.
What this means is WeatherMichigan.net is not prone to high traffic problems at the NWS/NOAA websites
that does happen during severe, or extremely active weather events
